BUILDING USE CASES IN ARCSIGHT ESM 4.0

The Building Use Cases in ArcSight ESM 4.0 extended tutorial will provide you with an in depth understanding of the process and creation of Use Cases within the ArcSight ESM 4.0 environment. This process begins with defining the Use Case goal. The Use Case intent may be a business objective, business process or a compliance requirement. The process continues through content development and testing to ensure that all the objectives have been met. This workshop is an advanced workshop and attendees are required to have attended either the ACSA for ESM 4.0 or the Innovations and Enhancements workshop and have had at least 6 months of authoring experience within the ArcSight ESM 4.0 environment.

FLEXCONNECTOR CONFIGURATION

ArcSight FlexConnector Configuration extended tutorial will provide you with an overview of ArcSight Connectors and explain the ArcSight ESM Schema. Additionally, attendees will learn how to configure the FlexConnector configuration files and understand the various parsing methods available including real examples from standard connectors. Parsing methods covered will include fixed delimited, regular expressions, database, and SNMP. Advanced configuration options such as multi-line REGEX, parser linking and conditional mapping will also be covered. You should have a good understanding of regular expressions to attend this course.

ARCSIGHT CERTIFIED INTEGRATOR AND ADMINISTRATOR TRAINING

(Normally 4 days of training covered in three): ACIAs will be introduced to all aspects of ArcSight Console administration and achieve a basic level of proficiency in installations of the ArcSight Manager, the centralized ArcSight database as well as ArcSight SmartConnectors.
